Little Known Facts About Darknet

Anything that is spoken or written about the topic is indeed interesting as a lot of information that is out there in online blogging sites and journals are not accurate and often lead to adding more chaos and confusion in the mist. There are a lot of  interesting and mind boggling facts about the Dark web that most of the websites fail to uncover.

  1. Darknet is indeed a place where illegal things take place but not everything that occurs is terrifying and outside the realm of normalcy. There are a lot of authentic sites that have information on government corruption or blogs written by whistle blowers or simple websites that contain old collections of books, research materials etc.
  2. There are websites (.onion sites) where you will be able to find all the books that are not available in the clear web and are very hard to find and that too you do not have to pay anything for it. Some examples where it is absolutely free are “Tor Library” and “Jotunbane’s Reading club”.
  3. The Dark Web also has search engines. The most well renowned  in the list is  “not Evil”, “Candle”, “Grams”, “TORCH” and all are available free of cost, but these search engines do not work as “Google” work. Just by typing in the keywords like “drug market” in the search box will not fetch you the results unless you have the exact URL ( Uniform Resource Locator) address of a particular website.
  4. There are even contents on the Darknet website that are are way above the discretion of normal viewing and are considered as extreme (e.g. child pornography, rape videos, animal abuse videos etc.), although these are available in both text and in video formats.
Hope the above information have cleared a misconception about the Dark web websites and shed some light upon the various aspects of .onion sites
